According toa press statement issued by the organisation, the incident took place early in the morning. The armed robbers invaded the office by cutting the security iron bars and started destroying office equipment, including TV screen, computers and other stuff.
Cash and valuable documents containing various important projects were stolen amon others. The workers who took photos of the attack aftermath also found a note on the table at the reception that reads “Not our target. We will be back.”
SERAP is now assessing the damage done to find out what else might be missing from the office. The robbery has been reported to police and investigation launched as people behind the raid as well as their intentions are still unclear.
