Yesterday, June 9, marked the 40th birthday of well-known Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’Banj.

To celebrate his big day, the former Mo’ Hits co-founder threw an online birthday concert.

By playing a selection of his Top 40 songs, the majority of which are from his Mo’ Hits heyday, D’Banj transported his fans back in time.

Several Disc Jockeys, singers, label executives, show promoters graced the virtual concert.

That being said, seeing some Mo’ Hits artists there, like Wande Coal and Don Jazzy, was a nostalgic sight.

Together, Koko Master and the members of his former Mo’ Hits group sang some of their favorite songs.

As you may remember, Olamide, a rapper from Nigeria, recently expressed gratitude to the former Mo’ Hits Records members for helping to shape the country’s current music scene.
