We are certain many of you has listened to DJ Jimmy Jatt’s new song, ‘Orekelewa‘. Well, the new gist is that, DMW boss, Davido, might have in-fact taken a not so subtle fire-packed diss shot at Koko master Dbanj, with his verse in the song.
We all heard and continuously saw how he rubbished elder state man Dele Momodu in Osinachi remix and publicly sold out events right? So we know its something our OBO can do.
The questionable verse:
‘Dem dey ask say what is the koko I tell am say owo ni koko em still think say na em be koko gerrarahere’ – Davido.

Singer D’banj, in a recent interview, has revealed that Nigerian artistes make music for the money involved.
The ‘Emergency’ crooner, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday, said artistes will work harder when they get paid for their works.
In his words:
“A musician is supposed to know how to play good music or collaborate with others to make good music in order to get paid for the services.
“We are not releasing music for it to be on You Tube or some other social media to make us popular. A musician should create room for some other persons to contribute to his music to make it worth the people’s while.
“We are releasing music to make money and to have money to help ourselves and our families,” he said.
On versatility, D’banj, noted that he is open to other genres.
“I am not shying away from other genres of music, but you just have to do the one that suits a song. As an entertainer, I have to be versatile in what I do.”
According to reports which recently surfaced, D’banj ‘Kokomaster’ is said to be owing a Tech Company called MindHub, the huge amount and his failure to pay has resulted in a lawsuit.
The debt, which has been traced back to 2012, shows D’banj signing a memorandum of Understating with the tech company on October 19,2012, for the promotion of a concert which was put together by his media house, D’Kings Men Media LTD.
According to Pulse.ng, who reported the news, said MindHub decided on investing the sum of $500,000 and N20 Million for concerts organization.
On December 29,2013, Dbanj issued a Skye Bank cheque No. 10000039 in the sum of $240,000 to be paid to Henry Ojogho, Mindhub’s Vice Chairman, but the cheque was returned due to insufficient funds in D’banj’s account.
D’banj again issued a GT Bank cheque No.00000046 which was dated January 20, 2014, in the sum of N15, 000,000 to be paid to Mindhub, was again bounced due to insufficient funds in his account.
